History of The Besom in Taunton

The Besom in Taunton was formed in 2005 by Nesta Long. Nesta remained the leader of the organisation until her death in 2016.

Nesta was struck by the number of needy people in the Taunton area and as a Christian felt challenged to put her faith into action by making a positive impact on their lives.

The Besom in Taunton is part of a network of local Besom organisations across the UK. The history of how Besom was set up to become a national organisation can be found at www.besom.com.
